Wildlife watching

The surrounding coastal forest is home to a variety of wildlife, offering incredible opportunities for nature lovers. At night, you may hear barred eagle-owls, large-tailed nightjars, and Sunda scops owls calling from the treetops. During the day, long-tailed macaques and silver leaf langurs can be seen along the forest edges. Nocturnal wildlife includes civets, western tarsiers, and slow lorises. The area also has abundant fig trees, attracting a variety of colorful birds such as green pigeons, barbets, and malkohas.
