About Us
Sustainable Living, Unforgettable Stays
Intentional & Immersive Living
At Koduko Sanctuary, we believe true luxury lies in simplicity and connection to nature. That’s why our homes are intentionally designed to be off-grid, powered by solar energy, and reliant on rainwater harvesting. The absence of air conditioning and high-powered appliances isn’t a compromise—it’s a conscious choice to live in balance with our surroundings.
The rustic charm of our villas reflects this philosophy. From natural ventilation that keeps the spaces cool to the minimal footprint we maintain on the land, every element is crafted to preserve the raw beauty of this remote coastal paradise. Here, you won’t find excess—just what you need to unwind, recharge, and embrace the surroundings in its purest form.
Getting There
Reaching Koduko Sanctuary is part of the adventure. Located along a remote stretch of coastline, the journey takes approximately two hours from Kota Kinabalu International Airport, with the final 20 minutes being an off-road drive through rugged terrain. Due to the challenging access, all guests are required to use our 4×4 transport service, which is included with your booking.
This secluded location ensures complete privacy and immersion in nature, far from the distractions of city life. As you make your way through winding jungle roads and down to the coastline, you’ll feel the shift—leaving behind the noise and entering a world of tranquility.
